Happy Squid Studios started the way a lot of good things start right now: a wave of layoffs scattered a lot of talented people across the industry, and a few of us decided to stop waiting for the next studio to build us a home, and build one ourselves instead.
We're a small core team backed by a wider pool of freelance friends, working together on our first original game. No publishers breathing down our necks, no crunch culture. Just a tank full of people who love making games.
